KOHIMA, Aug 1: A one-day programme on the sub-theme “Ease of Schooling” was held on July 31, 2023, at the EBRC Training hall Tseminyu in anticipation of the 3rd chief secretaries’ proposed meeting in the months of October/November 2023, with the theme “Promoting Ease of Living through Good Governance and the use of Technology.”
In his keynote address for the opening ceremony, Kemciyile, SDO (civil) Tseminyu noted that the orientation on the sub-theme “Ease of Schooling” sought feedback and suggestions from block-level officers, school heads, representatives of parents-teachers Associations, and related departments for the assemblage of these inputs into “Feedback/Concept Note.”
According to his opinion, “Ease of Living” in the context of education refers to “creating a supportive learning environment, a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere, providing students with the required resources, and providing students with the necessary support system to cater to the needs of the students.”
Chegeseng Kath AHM/JEO presided over the event, while Chubamenla Tep SDEO/DEO Tseminyu gave the opening remarks. 35 people in total attended the programme. The business session on the convenience of the mark sheet, transfer, and migration certificates, student Aadhar registration, the quality of infrastructure in schools, schemes & services delivery, improvement learning outcomes in schools, good practises of schools, and issues & challenges was moderated by Chegeseng Kath AHM/JEO Tseminyu.
