KOHIMA, Jun 14: Advisor Industries & Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu, Director of Industries & Commerce, A. Temjen Jamir along with Department officers visited Mokokchung District on 8th and 9 June 2023 to review the progress of several ongoing industrial infrastructure projects. The visiting officials also included NIDC Chairman, Kvulo Lorin and officials.
The Advisor was impressed with the progress made on the projects and stressed on timely completion of the project. She emphasized to the stakeholders that the infrastructure is set up for the local citizens to utilize, ensuring that it would enable local entrepreneurs to establish factories attracting new businesses and creating jobs for the district.
The project sites visited are Modern Aggregation Centre at Longnak, Industrial Estate with developed plots at Tuli, CFC Food Processing at Yaongyimsen, and Modern Aggregation Centre at Changtongya. The Industrial Infrastructures would provide space for new businesses and also support the growth of the logistics sector in the state.
Jakhalu’s visit to Mokokchung district is aligned with her ongoing effort to create a holistic ecosystem for industrial growth in the state. (DIPR)
