KOHIMA, Jun 7: A Joint meeting of the district Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) for Peren district was held at Deputy Commissioner Office DPDB hall Peren on 7 June 2023.
Tokheho Yepthomi Member of Parliament (Lok Shabha) and chairperson DISHA, Nagaland apprised the meeting on how the department is utilizing the sanction money from the Centrally Sponsored Schemes. Tokheho Yepthomi encouraged the different department in the meeting and said that the working systems in the state sometime need to correct and improve.
Tokheho further stated that the Centrally Sponsored Schemes strategy and the policies need to actively implement honestly and give effort for the successfully implementation. Tokheho advised the Food & Civil Supplies department to handle their activities perfectly and give proper guidelines of the department to the agencies. He also encouraged Agriculture department to cultivate and adopt good methods of farming like other states for the benefits of the district and for the state in general to support farmers. Highlighting through power point presentation the Agri. department said the department is attempting and trying to connect different agencies to promote the product which is cultivated from the Peren district.
The MP also encouraged the Social Welfare department to seek more centrally sponsor schemes and promote the activities. He further stated that RVY scheme is launched in the year 2021 and there are 36 types of devices for the citizens.
Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar IAS expressed his gratitude to all the departments for highlighting their departmental activities.
