He said these projects would enhance public convenience and generate substantial employment opportunities for the youth of Rajasthan.
In a major boost for young aspirants, appointment letters were handed over to more than 21,000 new recruits. Modi described it as the beginning of a new era for the state’s youth.
The Prime Minister also launched the nationwide HPV vaccination campaign from Ajmer, terming it a crucial step towards empowering India’s “Nari Shakti” and ensuring the health and dignity of mothers and daughters. He emphasized that a healthy mother strengthens the entire family and highlighted the government’s continued support to women through various welfare schemes.
Detailing the government’s approach to women’s health and dignity, Modi cited initiatives such as toilet construction under sanitation drives, access to sanitary pads, and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He also referred to a safe motherhood scheme under which ₹5,000 is deposited directly into beneficiaries’ accounts to ensure proper nutrition during pregnancy, reflecting a shift from neglect to sensitivity in governance.
Focusing on infrastructure, the Prime Minister said modern connectivity through roads, railways, and air travel is transforming Rajasthan’s destiny. Improved connectivity, he noted, is boosting tourism in destinations like Ajmer and Pushkar, thereby supporting local businesses, artisans, and transport operators. He added that infrastructure development linked to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is positioning Rajasthan as a “land of opportunities” for global investment.
Speaking on India’s rising global stature, Modi referred to the recent global AI summit in Delhi and his visit to Israel, where India’s progress and the valor of its soldiers were widely appreciated. He said leaders and corporate heads from across the world have acknowledged India’s growing strength and potential.
Highlighting the achievements of India’s armed forces over the past decade, he said the Indian Army has dealt decisive blows to terrorists and adversaries on every front. From surgical strikes to Operation Sindoor, he said, the armed forces have demonstrated exceptional courage and capability.
Addressing farmers’ concerns, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to implementing the long-pending ERCP project. He stated that the campaign to interlink rivers, including the modified Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal and Yamuna-Rajasthan link projects, would bring assured and significant benefits to farmers in Jhalawar, Baran, Kota, and Bundi districts.
Modi also highlighted Rajasthan’s immense solar potential. Under the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, the government provides assistance of ₹78,000 for rooftop solar installations.
