KOHIMA, Jan 26: On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, unfurled the National Flag at Raj Bhavan, Kohima, on January 26, 2024. The ceremony included the Governor taking the Rashtriya Salute from Jawans in the presence of Commissioner & Secretary to Governor, Wezope Kenye, and other officials. Certificates of Appreciation were bestowed upon the Jawans, and a floral tribute was paid to Dr. Imkongliba Ao.
Later in the afternoon, Governor La Ganesan hosted an “At Home” program at Raj Bhavan, Kohima.
The State Lunch was attended by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, his wife, Kaisa Rio, and other senior state government officials. The event marked a significant moment of camaraderie and celebration, showcasing the spirit of unity and patriotism on the 75th Republic Day.
