Governor Ganesan Urges Fitting Tribute to Founding Fathers on the eve of the 75th Republic Day

KOHIMA, Jan 25 (NEPS): Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan, on the eve of the momentous occasion of the 75th Republic Day, extends warm greetings to fellow countrymen and calls for a fitting tribute to the founding fathers of the nation. In a message on the eve of the 75th Republic Day of India, today, he reflects on the historic promise made 75 years ago by the people of India to adopt the country’s constitution and embrace the identity of citizens in a sovereign democratic republic.

Governor Ganesan underscores the significance of the day, emphasizing that the celebration is a result of the sacrifices—of blood, tears, and toil—made by millions of Indian men and women, alongside the founding fathers, who liberated the nation from foreign rule. He calls for a grateful nation to pay tribute to these heroes, urging that their sacrifices should never be forgotten.

As celebrations unfold, Governor Ganesan advocates paying homage and rededicating efforts to uphold the ideals of justice, liberty, and equality that the founding fathers fought valiantly to secure.
