KOHIMA, Jul 19: Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland successfully organised a session on financial literacy for women-owned enterprises on July 17, 2023 in Mokokchung.
The State Bank of India (SBI) and WENN collaborated to organise a financial literacy workshop in the Mokokchung area on July 17, 2023, in keeping with WENN’s subject of financial literacy. In 2023, a series of seminars will be held in nine districts throughout Nagaland, with this one being the fifth. Viliezoto Neikha, the assistant branch manager of SBI Mokokchung Town, served as the workshop’s resource person and went in-depth on the subject of financial literacy. Insights into financial management, different types of accounts, loans, credit scores, and other crucial components of financial literacy for entrepreneurs were offered throughout the programme.
During the workshop, Tsuvise Phoji, the deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, spoke to the attendees. He endorsed WENN for its initiatives to build a network of neighbourhood female entrepreneurs and emphasised the significance of cooperation and unity among them. He emphasised that Mokokchung has many prospects for entrepreneurs to thrive, referring to it as the “land of pioneers,” and he advised the business owners to look into the possibility of expanding their operations outside of the district into nearby locations. The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland is dedicated to planning additional events to encourage and promote female entrepreneurs in the region. (DIPR)
