Governor encouraged students to become “game changer”

KOHIMA, Jan 11 (NEPS): Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya interacted with Government students of Government College and Government Excellence Higher Secondary School in Thandla, Madhya Pradesh on Friday.

The Governor called upon the students to continue working hard and to achieve their goals in empowering themselves with knowledge. He encouraged them to be ‘Game Changers’ and socially accountable.

He stated that students, when they came out, must be an asset to the society and be employable. “Work culture should be embraced and be positive towards entrepreneurship,” he added.

Stating the education was not a disease but the solution, he encouraged the students to complete their education and develop their community and society. He asserted that education is one of the most important instruments for men and women. “We should not become a job seeker and instead we should become a job giver,” he added.

Acharya also encouraged the teachers to be dedicated in providing knowledge and the right set of skill training to the students so that they could stand on their own once they pass out.

He was accompanied by DC, Thandla Prabal Sepeha and SP, Thandla Shri Mehesh Chand Jain.

The Governor is in Thandla to attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Vedik Sammelan at Maharshi Dayanand Sevashram as the Chief Guest on January 12, 2018.
