Awareness campaign on “protection and conservation of forest and wildlife” on November 10

KOHIMA, Nov 8: On the eve of the Amur Falcon Festival (8 to 10 November 2018), the Nagaland Forest Department is organizing an awareness campaign on “protection and conservation of forest and wildlife” at the Recreation Hall, NEEPCO, Doyang Town, Wokha District on 10 November 2018 at 10:30 am with active participation of the Ministers/Advisors/MLAs/Senior officials from the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi/Chief Wildlife Wardens of the North Eastern Region/Wildlife Institute of India/District/Police Administration, Officers from Agriculture/Horticulture/Veterinary and Animal Husbandry/Fisheries/Forest Department, Para Military Forces, Chairman/Members of the nearby Village Councils, Schools, NGOs and other stakeholders. The programme is sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi.

Advisor, Horticulture Department, Mhathung Yanthan will be the special invitee for the programme and Director General of Forests & Special Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Sidhant Das, IFS will be the guest invitee for the program.
