Vimetsul Tase to take part in International Sepaktakraw Championship in Malyasia

KOHIMA, Jul 30 (NEPS): Vimetsul Tase of Nagaland Police has been selected by the Sepaktakraw Federation of India (SFI) to be part of the strong Indian Men Sepaktakraw Team to represent India in the forthcoming “Chief Minister Challenge Trophy International Sepaktakraw Championship” to be held from 3 to 6 August 2017 at Miri Indoor Stadium, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Tase is currently attached to the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly as PSO. Earlier he was attached to Chief Minister TR Zeliang from 3 June 2014 to 20 May 2015 as Ring Round Commander and also Pilot Commander.

Former Champions of over 2 dozens of Junior National and Senior National Sepaktakraw Tournaments held in various parts of the country, Tase, hailing from Jakhama Village, is the 7th child of 12 children (9 boys and 3 girls) of Eyotso Tase.

The Indian Men Sepaktakraw Team will depart on 1 August from New Delhi for Malaysia and return on 8 August 2017 for India.
