Stilt Bamboo Race has enthralled the crowd at Kisama

KISAMA, Dec 7 (NEPS): Stilt Bamboo Race has enthralled the crowd at the 7th Day of the Hornbill Festival today at Kisama. Stilt Bamboo race, which has been organized by the Department of Youth Resource and Sports at Heritage Village, Kisama, has a total of 15 competitors representing different tribes.

Hokugha Sumi won the race in 26.19 seconds. Tamu of Pochurytribe and Kushen from Chang tribe were placed 2nd and 3rd finishing the race in 28.2 seconds and 30.43 seconds respectively. The winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 7000, Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively.


Prizes were given away by Assistant Director Youth Resource and Sports, Megolhou Dolie.
