IPR bids farewell to director

KOHIMA, Jul 30: The Department of IPR, Nagaland held a farewell function for its retiring Director, Pausui Zeliang on 30th July 2016 at the IPR Citadel conference hall, Kohima.

Pausui, in his speech, said that his serving the department has broadened his outlook towards life and felt that his days with the department have been his best days. He highlighted on his various postings during his tenure stating that he has learnt a lot about his work and life and thanked the officers and staff of IPR for their support and guidance during his 35 years of service.

Incoming Director, Limawati described Pausui as an officer who never missed a day of duty and has been a very good example to all. He also said that the outgoing Director has been an able administrator and leader who protected the interest and welfare of the officers and staffs of the department.

Secretary IPR, T. Ao, IAS, who also spoke at the function, said that Pausui Zeliang was a good leader and he instilled a good working atmosphere in the department. He said retiring does not mean goodbye from social life and instead it is a good opportunity to give time to himself, his family and his personal interests.

Others who spoke included, Joint Director, IPR Tokishe Sema on behalf of the Directorate staff and DPRO Kohima Ruopfulenuo H. Mepfhüo on behalf of district officers. Pausui Zeliang joined the department of IPR on 1st August 1981 and he was posted as District Public Relation Officer in Mokokchung, Tuensang, Phek and Zunheboto. He was promoted as Deputy Director and was posted to the Directorate in the year 2000 and subsequently retired as Director after completing 35 years of service.
