Tseminyu SDPB meeting held

TSEMINYU, Feb 11: Tseminyu SDPB meeting was held at ADC’s conference hall on 10th February 2016 under the chairmanship of Parliamentary Secretary for Housing, Er.Levi Rengma.

The meeting deliberated on the need of SHC (medical) at Ziphenyu village in order to improve medical facilities, since the said SHC covers more villages in the Sub-Division. SMO Tzeminyu, Dr. Teninlo Menu also expressed the need for construction of quarters for Medical Officer and staffs and the urgent need for ambulance service. ADC and Vice Chairperson of SDPB Vikhweno also pointed out the problem of shortage of Medical Officer at PHC Tseminyu, which the Parliamentary Secretary, Er. Levi Rengma assured to bring the problems to the notice of the concerned Department

Proposed agenda for the construction of Rain Water Harvesting Tank in all the villages in the sub-Division to be taken up under LADPF 2016-17 was discussed in the meeting. It also deliberated on the importance of acquiring one dumping place/site for Tseminyu town. On the importance of local agricultural productions for grassroots level, Parliamentary Secretary Er. Levi Rengma commented that prices of local vegetables should not be high, but it should be at a very reasonable rate so that people should buy them.

ADC Vikhweno said that Government employees of Tseminyu Sub-Division must stay  in the station and solve the grievances of the people. She also requested the concerned officers to regularly attend SDPB meetings and share the problems of their departments. The growing need of security Police personnel in the Sub-Division was also discussed in the meeting.
