Khriehu  inaugurates  jubilee  solar  light


KOHIMA, Sept 13: Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports, State Lotteries, Music Task Force, Khriehu Liezietsu inaugurated Jubilee Solar Light which was organised in collaboration with International Year of Light 2015 by Baptist Church Kidima in commemoration of 75 years of Christianity on 13th September 2015 at Jubilee Park, local ground Kidima.

Speaking on the occasion, Khriehu stressed on the importance of light stating that light is the most basic requirement for everything to move on in the fast changing world. “Our life without electricity seem impossible thereby light is considered as the need of the hour”, he added. He further said that the government has been trying its best to provide electricity at an affordable rate in conformity with the rapid growth of population.

He also extended his appreciation for the initiative to use solar light in the absence of electricity which he said was a good example particularly in rural areas. He hoped that the people of the village would renew their spiritual life with the installation of solar light in the village.

During the inaugural programme, Senior Pastor & Chairman Platinum Jubilee, Rev. Keholeshü Tepa delivered welcome address while Jubilee Choir presented special number and dedication prayer by the congregation.

The main service was held at Baptist Church Kidima where Pastor, Khedi Baptist Church, Rev. Pelhousehu Belho was the speaker.
