Special observer (NERPAP) holds meeting at Tuensang  

TUENSANG, May 7: Y.M. Humtsoe Special Observer National Electoral Roll Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) called a meeting on 5th May 2015 at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang.  The meeting was attended by District Administrative Officers, AEO, AEROs, representatives of political parties, BLOs, Sector Presidents, DBs and GBs and Election Office Staffs.

The Observer (NERPAP) in his speech said that there should be an error free EPIC and should collectively work for the same.  He also reviewed the work functions of the Adhaar and EPIC linkage as directed by the NERPAP guidelines. The meeting continued with the interaction with the BLOs and the AEROs regarding the NERPAP work functions.


Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang Alem Jongshi also shared the opinions and encouraged the dignitaries present in the meeting to work tirelessly to achieve the goal of the NERPAP guidelines. He also said that linkage of Adhaar to EPIC will be ultimate and will be done to check the genuine citizenship of the nation and so the citizens should compulsorily enrolled the personal identity in Adhaar. Every AEROs present in the meeting shared the problems facing in linkage of Adhaar to EPIC.
