Congress MLA Hukhavi asked house to dissolve to pave way for solution to Naga issue

Opposition Congress MLA Hukhavi alleged that the Nagaland politicians had failed the people of Nagaland and further called upon them to take a united stand for the settlement of the long drawn out Naga political issue. 

The Opposition Congress MLA was participating in the debate on the budget presented by the chief minister TR Zeliang, who also holds Finance portfolio, on the floor of the Assembly on July 22.

Stating that the DAN government had failed on all fronts, the Congress MLA informed the August house that they all should come forward to take a decision to “dissolve” the house to pave way for the the Naga underground people and the Government of India to find solution to the protracted issue.
